The 1.0 note is where Farewells Clicker stops being a demo loop. Rock, Quarry, and Lumbermill still matter, but the late island is about stars, click propagation, and a building the developers refused to explain. This page is the landmark half of the building list. For neighbor math on producers, stay on Building Synergies.
Team Square listed Tower, Castle, and Portal among buildings that were locked in the demo or brand new. They also mentioned Banquet and Totem lines tied to stones or coins. Treat those sentences as the ceiling of public knowledge.
Tower
Tower grants a lot of stars and does not produce stones, wood, or coins. The note says its Banquet or Totem is built with stones. That makes Tower a stone-industry sink, not a second quarry.
Do not drop a Tower on the only rock field you have. Finish a quarry cluster first. Then spend surplus stones on the landmark line. If a quest says “place towers” and nothing counts, confirm you did not place Watch tower by mistake. Watch tower only claims land. The confusion is documented on known issues.
Castle
Castle grants a lot of stars, adds SUPER click propagation, and does not produce the ordinary resources. Its Banquet or Totem line uses coins. Castle is the manor-industry sink plus an idle tool.
SUPER click propagation means one click can fan out. Pair Castle with Guild Hall if your hand is the bottleneck. Patch 0.6.0 already buffed auto-click speed; Castle is the late-game version of that idea. It is still a landmark. An early Castle on a bare island is vanity.
Banquet and Totem
The 1.0 sentences attach Banquet/Totem to Tower (stones) and Castle (coins). They grant stars and do not replace a producer. Demo-era videos sometimes show a banquet as a large star packet you place once you can afford the resource sink. Use that as mood, not as a 1.0 coefficient. Hover the live tooltip for size, range, and cost.
If a chest offers a free banquet-like reward, read chest events before you accept a storm that deletes the producers feeding the sink.
Portal
Portal is “the ultimate building of your island…” and then the note stops. This wiki stops too. We will not invent a Portal puzzle, a resource recipe, or a hidden ending. Play to see it. Creative Mode is a safer place to experiment with late placements than a farewell you did not mean to take.
If an achievement looks Portal-shaped and stays hidden, leave it hidden. The achievements page does not guess locked descriptions.
Windmill in the late tree
1.0 names Windmill range as a chest-choice node. The launch note does not reprint a full windmill paragraph. A windmill is a range-sensitive helper. Do not buy the range node until a windmill is already on the island and the tooltip shows what the range is for. Jungle is the tree-side chest choice; do not take both just because they are on the same screen.
When to switch from producers to landmarks
- You can name the fuel for your main industry without guessing.
- Guild Hall or auto-click covers the painful clicking.
- The skill tree is waiting on stars, not on a missing unlock you could buy with the next quarry.
- You have a stone surplus (Tower line) or a coin surplus (Castle line).
- You can afford to lose the tiles if Tempest appears.
If any line is false, place another producer. The building tier list ranks by the bottleneck a building removes, not by how late it looks in a screenshot.
Skill nodes that ride with late buildings
1.0 says a lot of nodes come along with the new buildings: unlocks, improvements, influences. Buy the unlock before you reserve a landmark pocket. Multi Claim and Chest Discovery are map nodes, not Tower nodes. Keep that split on the Skill Tree Hub and the Skill Planner.
A late-game session order
- Confirm Detailed mode is on.
- Stabilize one industry from the Synergy Planner.
- Spend stars on the unlock that matches the landmark you will actually feed.
- Place Tower or Castle on leftover tiles, not on the fuel.
- Place the matching Banquet/Totem only when the tooltip looks like a star sink you can afford.
- Leave Portal until the island already works.
- If you only wanted to sketch the pocket, use Creative Mode instead of farewelling.

Late game in Farewells Clicker is not a new combat layer. It is the same adjacency puzzle with a star sink on top. Play it that way and the ellipsis on Portal stays exciting instead of frustrating.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Farewells Clicker questions.
Is Watch tower a late-game building?
No. It only claims land. Tower is the star landmark. The names are easy to mix up.
What does Portal do?
The 1.0 note calls it the ultimate building and stops. Hover it in the client. This page will not invent the rest.
Should I build Castle before a manor cluster?
No. Castle’s banquet line uses coins. Seed manors first, then spend surplus coins on the landmark.
Do Towers produce stones?
No. They grant stars. Rocks and quarries produce stones. The banquet/totem uses stones as a sink.
