Farewells Clicker Updates

Official patch beats, rewritten for players.

Last updated:

Team Square talks in Steam news. This hub translates those posts into the pages you actually search: what 1.0 added on launch day, and what the June 2026 Next Fest demo already changed. Read Patch 1.0 if you bought the game this week. Read launch week for the discount window and the current news-feed list. Read the demo patches if you are comparing a February or June memory to the full release.

We do not invent patch numbers. The public feed we indexed has four community posts: Patch 1.0 (release), Next Fest Broadcast (IdleCub), Patch 0.6.2, and Patch 0.6.0. If a newer post exists on Steam after you load this page, the Steam post wins.

Why an updates section exists on a strategy wiki

Farewells Clicker is a live-tuned incremental. Auto-click speed, quest validation, ultrawide UI, Storm costs, and late-game buildings all moved in public notes. A synergy guide that ignores those notes will tell you to “just place a second quarry” without mentioning that a demo quest once failed to count it. Strategy and history belong together.

Use updates when:

  • A tooltip disagrees with a wiki sentence.
  • You are deciding whether a demo bug still exists.
  • You want the list of 1.0 buildings without browsing the whole building list.
  • You want to know whether Creative Mode is new (it is).

1.0 in one paragraph

Launched 17 August 2026. New or newly unlocked buildings: Rock, Obsidian, Quarry, Tower, Lumbermill, Manor, Castle, Portal. New or highlighted nodes: Multi Claim, Chest Discovery, Jungle, Windmill range. Creative Mode. Late-game balance focus. Performance work for large islands. Achievements. Localization fixes. Dark transition between island and tech tree. Inverted camera. Full sentences live on Patch 1.0.

0.6.x in one paragraph

0.6.0 shipped Guild Hall, Cottage, Watch tower, Whack-A-Mole, Tempest, Cloning, Chest Discovery, Detailed mode, display/resolution/language dropdowns, homemade localization, auto-click buffs, quest placement fixes, and ultrawide UI fixes. 0.6.2 fixed Storm costs, a self-completing click tutorial, a double sound on locked nodes, recap layout after Storm, more ultrawide cases, and added a wishlist button in the escape menu. Full sentences live on the demo patches page.

How to read a note without getting baited

If a note says a building “doesn’t do anything else,” believe it. Watch tower is the example. If a note says “SUPER,” believe it is a large boost and still hover for the number. If a note uses an ellipsis (Portal), do not let a wiki fill the silence. If a note lists a bug as fixed, and you still see the bug, report it to Team Square instead of assuming you are on the wrong patch. The support address is on the Links Hub.

What we will not archive

Twitch VODs as if they were patches. Fake “secret 0.7 datamines.” Code drop pages. This is not a Roblox title and there is no script feed. IdleCub’s Next Fest broadcast is a discovery stream, not a changelog; we mention it only because Steam did.

Pair updates with guides

After you read 1.0, the useful next clicks are How to Play if you are new, Building Synergies if you came for the new industrial buildings, Early Skill Nodes if you came for Multi Claim, and the review if you are still on the store page. Chest names from 0.6.0 are explained as play advice on chest events.

When in doubt, open Steam news for app 4264950, then come back here for the strategy that sits on top of those sentences.
